Saturday, August 20 at the 2011 NSBA World Championship Show was the big debut of the Heroes on Horses event – western pleasure classes for veterans and active-duty wounded soldiers. Five competitors participated in the inaugural event, and many spectators showed up to watch.

Ken was Professor of Equine Sports Physiology at Limerick University in Ireland. He ran the early trials of the SUCCEED formulation for Dr. Peter Bedding. Meanwhile, Dr. Frank Pellegrini had discovered colonic ulcers in horses.
I am sad to report that Dr. Frank Pellegrini passed away on December 22, 2016. Franklin Louis Pellegrini, DVM was a remarkable equine veterinarian, a true genius without whom SUCCEED likely would not exist today.
