We here at Elephant Havens Wildlife Foundation in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Africa started using SUCCEED® only last November with the two most recent rescued orphans, a young female approximately 1 year old and a young male under 6 months old. These young elephants were very fragile, fully traumatized, grieving and prone to many digestive issues, ulcers, diarrhea, blockage, bleeding and others. The young female was rescued in poor condition from a wastewater treatment area near Victoria Falls and the young male was rescued after its mother likely died from drought conditions. These two youngsters came in as bags of bones with the young female even needing assistance to get to her feet once down to sleep. We were not optimistic. Today these two are both out of quarantine (after only 2 weeks-a record short transition) and with the herd on the property, swimming, wallowing and enjoying their new family. They are positively ‘fluffy’. We have never had such a digestive symptom-free transition plus rapid weight recovery in our 4 years of operation. A genuine life saver, as we were not always able to reverse the digestive conditions once settled in. Genuine thanks from these special little creatures who now will one day return to the wild. I first started using SUCCEED after my horse had experienced repeated episodes of GI tract issues. It was important to give him every assistance to help break any cycle and restore stability. The horse wasn’t well and seemed to be feeling a bit fragile. My vet suggested for him to go on SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program, which we hoped would provide additional support. My husband is an equine performance medicine veterinarian. He is a big believer in SUCCEED, and I have been using it for quite some time now! I first used it on a horse that had stomach issues; I saw a huge difference and became a believer! I am a professional trainer. I received “Goose” for lease for a client of mine in May of 2016. He was super well behaved and seemed eager to learn to jump. In the fall, things seemed to take a turn for the worse in his training. Bucking, kicking out, nervous, anxious and it escalated to rearing. Couldn’t groom him, wouldn’t stand or even take the bit when tacking up. I chiropracted him, got his teeth floated, injected hocks and stifles and addressed his stomach health to no avail. His rearing had gotten terrible. My vet then suggested SUCCEED®.
Within three weeks of daily use I had a totally different horse. He is happy, comfortable and completely willing to do his job without a fuss. I came across the SUCCEED website when I started doing my own reading on digestive health. I was at a loss to which way to turn with my horse, who had undergone extensive checks from my vets and was found to have GI tract issues. The treatments were not helping and he continued to have chronic stomach issues. I was hoping that the SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program would provide my gelding with some support for his stomach and his gut.
Before using SUCCEED, he would buck and swish his tail a lot when we used our legs. He never cleaned up his feed completely and used to lay down a lot in the stable and the field. As soon as we began to use SUCCEED, he started eating more and he was more relaxed to touch and groom. After longer use he became better to ride, allowing us to use our legs on his side without reacting. The most dramatic change we have seen with using SUCCEED is that he no longer lies down excessively. He no longer bucks and we are able to take him out without any reaction.
I am very pleased with the outcome and didn’t expect to see the change I have today, so I highly recommend SUCCEED. I am now thinking of trying my other horse on the SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program, too, as he can get very tense at shows.

My 15 year old advanced horse ‘Just A Game’ came back from his six week holiday looking poor. I have never had this issue with him before, but this year he needed a bit more help. I wanted to promote his condition without him getting fat and make sure I kept his energy levels up. I was advised to try SUCCEED by one of their sponsored riders, Lucinda Green. My mare was very backwards thinking and grumpy, kicking out and bucking when schooling at home or competing. She was quite a weak, big, young horse who struggled to stay forward both physically and in her attitude. I was hoping that using SUCCEED would make her more comfortable and forward thinking. Since I have been using SUCCEED, she is much more enthusiastic about her work, more willing and seems more comfortable. Our mare has previously experienced GI tract issues when she was at work. She has had some time off due to having a foal and was due to return to ridden work again. We spoke to our vet who recommended trying SUCCEED to provide additional support. She was previously very irritable and bad-tempered when handled and ridden.
