Walt Bruner’s Tennessee Walking Horses on SUCCEED®

Growing up in rural Kentucky, Walt Bruner became familiar with horses from an early age. When he began to look for a change from the family dairy business, Bruner decided to move a few horses to the local fairgrounds and set up shop as a trainer to help people throughout his area with their own horses.

“My most important accomplishments are not only my awards, but being known for always having healthy horses.”

It was several years before a few of Bruner’s customers introduced him to the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville, Tennessee. “The excitement of that event really drew me in,” Bruner said.

From that time forward, Bruner devoted his career to breeding, raising, training and showing top Tennessee Walking Horses for customers throughout the U.S. “I am just mainly doing what I love,” he said.

And Bruner’s dedication to the breed has paid off. He won the Plantation Championship at the National Celebration aboard Go Boy’s Teardrop in 1983 and continued his winning ways over more than two decades, taking the 2003 Performance Pleasure Specialty World Grand Championship at the Kentucky Celebration on Mark’s Remarkable.

“He’s the best horse I have ever owned and trained in every aspect,” Bruner said of the stallion. “I started showing him at two years of age and continue showing and breeding him to this day at age 16.”

Inducted into the Kentucky Walking Horse Association Hall of Fame in 2005, Bruner is proud not only of his remarkable career, but also of the care he has shown to each of his charges over the years. “My most important accomplishments are not only my awards, but being known for always having healthy horses.”

The Discovery

Always concerned about the overall health and well-being of his horses, Bruner is continually willing to try products that may benefit the horse without causing potential harm or side effects. He found exactly that when he decided to try SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program®.

“He acts like a two-year old. His stamina is great and he looks great.”

Excited about the possibilities SUCCEED® opened up for his horses, Bruner decided to try it on his pride and joy, Mark’s Remarkable. He began to see a difference in the World Champion stallion very quickly.

“He’s 16 years old and it’s done wonders for him,” Bruner said. “He acts like a two-year old. His stamina is great and he looks great.”

Bruner has also used SUCCEED® on another stallion, He’s All Power. “He used to be the kind of horse that really walked his stall—you could hardly even go in there. Now he’s much calmer and has more strength for his training,” Bruner said.

Results

After seeing a considerable difference in the demeanors, stamina and performance of the horses placed on SUCCEED®, Bruner is now a true believer in the product. He has put a promising two-year old, Shot of Mark, on the product and the changes in the horse have caught the attentions of Bruner’s clients, who now request the product for their young horses as well.

“I am one of SUCCEED’s biggest supporters,” Bruner said. “This product is really working for my number one two-year old this year and both of my stallions. It’s natural and it’s cost effective. Anyone who wants to support their horse’s performance, health or demeanor should try this product.”
