Congrats To NSBA Hall of Fame Inductee Nancy Sue Ryan

Nancy Sue RyanAll of us at Freedom Health would like to offer our congratulations to Quarter Horse breeder and trainer Nancy Sue Ryan on her induction into the National Snaffle Bit Association Hall of Fame this year.

Nancy Sue Ryan owns Show Stop Farm in Texas where she breeds and trains American Quarter Horses for the competition in Hunter Under Saddle. She has no shortage of titles to hang on her wall, including over 70 World and Congress championships and reserve champion wins. She has also kept her show horses on SUCCEED for several years.

Nancy Sue is thrilled and overwhelmed to be included alongside some of the best horsemen in the NSBA – some of whom were also her mentors.

“It’s a huge honor for me to be inducted into the NSBA Hall of Fame, but the credit really goes to the wonderful horses I’ve been privileged to ride over the years. It was horses like my first Congress champion Mikes Bob Bar in 1974 to Hunt Coats Required in 2009 that got me where I am today. I couldn’t have done it without them, their owners, the judges, and the many people who make each show possible.”

Congratulations to Nancy Sue on her award and for breeding tomorrow’s champions today!

The NSBA is all about the pleasure horse. The organization handles exhibits, events, and shows to promote the pleasure horse. Another goal of the NSBA is to improve the quality of the pleasure horse through training, setting standards for competition, and promoting interest in younger horsemen.

NSBA Hall of Fame

The National Snaffle Bit Association Hall of Fame recognizes individual and horses that have made significant contributions to the NSBA through exhibition and promotion of the pleasure horse. It is designed to represent the best of the pleasure horse industry.

A rider can be inducted into the Hall of Fame after winning earnings of $250,000 or more.
