Monty Roberts Receives CA Air Force Association Special Consideration Award

Monty Roberts and ChromeMonty Roberts and his horses help veterans recover from their combat related deployment.

Solvang, CA (June 1, 2011) – The California Air Force Association (CAFA) will award Monty Roberts the Special Consideration Award at the 2011 CAFA State Convention for his support to veterans.

This award is given each year at the CAFA State Convention to individuals providing support to military members and their families within the State of California. This is a very high honor and recognizes Roberts’ outstanding efforts in helping veterans recover from their combat related deployments.

Roberts will receive the award at the CAFA Military Awards Banquet on Saturday evening June 4, 2011 at the Pacific Coast Club at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, California.

Horse Sense and Soldiers aired on Discovery Military highlighting the therapeutic effect that horses and Monty Roberts’ Join-Up® have on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
