All of us at Freedom Health would like to offer our congratulations to Quarter Horse breeder and trainer Nancy Sue Ryan on her induction into the National Snaffle Bit Association Hall of Fame this year.
Nancy Sue Ryan owns Show Stop Farm in Texas where she breeds and trains American Quarter Horses for the competition in Hunter Under Saddle. She has no shortage of titles to hang on her wall, including over 70 World and Congress championships and reserve champion wins. She has also kept her show horses on SUCCEED for several years.
Nancy Sue is thrilled and overwhelmed to be included alongside some of the best horsemen in the NSBA – some of whom were also her mentors.
“It’s a huge honor for me to be inducted into the NSBA Hall of Fame, but the credit really goes to the wonderful horses I’ve been privileged to ride over the years. It was horses like my first Congress champion Mikes Bob Bar in 1974 to Hunt Coats Required in 2009 that got me where I am today. I couldn’t have done it without them, their owners, the judges, and the many people who make each show possible.”
Congratulations to Nancy Sue on her award and for breeding tomorrow’s champions today!
About the National Snaffle Bit Association
The NSBA is all about the pleasure horse. The organization handles exhibits, events, and shows to promote the pleasure horse. Another goal of the NSBA is to improve the quality of the pleasure horse through training, setting standards for competition, and promoting interest in younger horsemen.
NSBA Hall of Fame
The National Snaffle Bit Association Hall of Fame recognizes individual and horses that have made significant contributions to the NSBA through exhibition and promotion of the pleasure horse. It is designed to represent the best of the pleasure horse industry.
A rider can be inducted into the Hall of Fame after winning earnings of $250,000 or more.

Freedom Health is proud to announce a new member of Team SUCCEED: western dressage pioneer Eitan Beth-Halachmy and his Morgan stallions.
Eitan is our kind of guy. After a 45-minute interview the other day he was antsy to get off the phone because he was ready to get out of the house and ride his horses. We don’t blame him for that; it’s obvious how much he enjoys his horses and their unique discipline of western dressage.
Eitan Beth-Halachmy Pioneers The Western Dressage Movement
Eitan grew up studying classical dressage and horsemanship under Adam George, Director of the Israeli National Stud and a former Hungarian cavalry officer. However, from the time he was young, Eitan was enthralled with the Hollywood cowboy and the symbiotic relationship of the cowboy and his cowhorse.
After a 6-month stint as a farm exchange student in the US followed by 2-years of cleaning stalls at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Eitan returned to the US for good. It was then that he combined his dual loves of cowboy and classical dressage to launch the western dressage style.

Dialed In, the top Kentucky Derby contender under Trainer Nick Zito, has everything going for him in the lead up to Saturday’s race. Dialed In drew the #8 post near the much-coveted center of the field. And he’s currently the handicappers’ favorite, currently at 4-1 odds in the final days before the Derby.
Dialed In is an exciting horse to watch with his come-from-behind style, which has served more than a few Derby winners well in past years. Here’s a glimpse into the life of the 2011 Kentucky Derby favorite Dialed In.

The 2011 Kentucky Derby Run for the Roses is fast approaching, and all eyes here at Freedom Health are on top Derby contender Dialed In, running under trainer and Team SUCCEED member Nick Zito.
We are rooting for Dialed In for two reasons: he runs on SUCCEED® and he wins with style.
The hugely popular mare Zenyatta was beloved not just for her impressive 19-race win streak, but for her spectacular come-from-behind-finishes in nearly every race. It’s a secret she has apparently shared with Dialed In, whose wins make for some of the most exciting 2 minutes in sports.
Watch as Dialed In comes from trailing the field by 14 lengths to win the Florida Derby (G1) by a head in the homestretch. (He’s number 7 in the burgundy saddle blanket.)
