If you’re a horse owner, trainer, breeder, or rider, you can’t afford to waste your time and money. You need products that really make a difference in your horses’ wellness and performance. If you’re a veterinarian, you understand the importance of healthy gastrointestinal function. You need to know that the treatments you prescribe really work for your clients and their horses.

That’s why we made sure to support SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program® with conclusive research – so that you can be confident you’re taking the best care of your horses and their digestive health.

Developed in 2003 by Peter Bedding, PhD, SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program® combines his extensive work in equine nutrition with the practical horsemanship of company founder John Hall and veterinarian Frank Pellegrini, DVM. They sought to find a solution to the common yet dangerous problem of digestive imbalance in performance horses. Their efforts culminated with the creation of SUCCEED®, a natural, nutritional program with verified results.

Increasing Colostrum IgG Levels in Pregnant Mares

United States Patent Number 7,658,964 was issued February 9, 2010, for “increasing the colostrum immunoglobulin (IgG) levels in equine mares.” Studies conducted in 2006, and referenced in the patent, showed significant increases in colostrum IgG levels of mares fed SUCCEED 90-days prior to foaling, compared to mares not fed SUCCEED. Colostrum IgG contains antibodies, important for providing newborn foals with protection from infection and other diseases, and in establishing the foal’s immunity. This patent verifies that SUCCEED may be a useful tool for breeding farms or anyone involved in breeding horses.
